$10,000 award fund available for citizens
who help find Arlington City Hall arsonist
SEATTLE – If you have information that can help investigators catch
the Arlington City Hall arsonist, you could be eligible for up to $10,000
in reward money. The Arlington City Hall blaze last month destroyed more
than $500,000 in property, including $100,000 in computer equipment.
Investigators have determined the fire was set by an arsonist.
The Arson Alarm Foundation, in conjunction
with the Washington Insurance Council, provides awards up to $10,000 each
year to citizens who help stop arsonists. Anyone with information about
the fire is encouraged to call the arson hotline, 1(800) 55-ARSON.
During the
past 10 years, the Arson Alarm Foundation has awarded nearly $100,000
to citizens who’ve helped investigators catch arsonists.
